		<description>Ah yes - I was told by the Doctor who treated me that none are effective against all strains but that the one&#039;s I was on were effective against the worst strains. Anyway we actually stopped using repellant in camp because we didn&#039;t see a single mosquito and didn&#039;t get any bites. (there was no water anywhere near so perhaps that&#039;s why). Anyway there must have been some kind of stealth ninja mosquito because I got it and never even noticed I had a bite!</description>

		<description>The anti-malarials don&#039;t actually keep you from getting malaria - they just make it much, much, much less bad if you do. (It&#039;s mosquito discipline, and good ole luck, that keep you from getting malaria.)

Ask Charles for his malaria story sometime . . . pretty harrowing.
