Our bed for the night! Yep! We really are staying on this railway platform; well in the converted waiting room anyway. It’s a working line as well!

2. There are only a few trains a day in this part of Scotland – it was one of my best nights sleep despite being a couple of metres from an ‘active’ railway line..
