Hi Abby,

Should be able to do it in 2 days - the 3 days just made it more social/enjoyable that's all.

If you follow the national cycle route the middle section goes off the towpath and there are some hills to look out for. Our day 1 was a mostly flat 35 miles and day 3 an easy flat ride though. We set off around 10:30am each day and were done easily in time to shower, relax for a bit and then get food/drink in the evening. If you are feeling keen the cycle route also continues to Bristol if you want to add another 16 miles and make it up to a round 100 ;)

Good luck!

Hi Tim, am thinking of doing the Reading to Bath/Bristol ride along the Kennet and Avon, but trying to work out whether it's possible to do it in 2 days (fairly fit but not wanting to kill ourselves) or whether we should budget 3 days like you guys did. Any comments would be most appreciated!

Cheers,
Abby
